Are you experiencing an early pregnancy loss?
You may be eligible to participate in a clinical study.
Conceptra Biosciences, along with Tidewater Clinical Research, is currently conducting a study to measure the effectiveness of a medication taken by mouth compared to expectant management for resolution of first trimester pregnancy loss. Expectant management is sometimes called “watchful waiting,” and is considered an alternative to taking a medication or having a procedure. If you’ve been told by a health care provider that you are experiencing a pregnancy loss, they may have used the terms “miscarriage,” “pregnancy loss,” “embryonic demise” or “anembryonic pregnancy.”

To be eligible for the study, you must:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 50.
- Be able to provide informed consent.
- Have little or no vaginal bleeding.
- Have been pregnant for 10 weeks or less – although you may not know the duration in the case of an anembryonic pregnancy.
- Have your pregnancy loss confirmed by ultrasound.
